This is the end result of the Bachelor Project we have been working on for a year now.
Our research question was to study the process of making a movie with the border of 3D and 2D together or rather 2.5D.
As we have progressed we have experienced first hand that this process is rather more expensive and time consuming for the industry in comparison of what they actually profit out of it. Which is why we now understand why the movie industry usually choose 3D over 2D.
During our time making this, we slowly started discovering ways of speeding up the creation process. Hence time was at our doorstep upon finishing up this project.
As for the movie itself and the universe we have created for it,
It's set in a post-apocalyptic alternative universe all about Rebel vs Ruler.
The protagonist is called Crow. Crow is part of a rebel organisation committed to taking down the powerful Albatatis and his army of robots.
